Lime Bundles

Changelog

Every release, newest first, and what it changes for you and your shoppers. Pick a date on the left to jump to that release.

Bundles and in-store pickup

  • Bundles stay on sale when a product is stocked only at a location that offers in-store pickup, so shoppers who can collect it can still buy the bundle.

Create and edit bundles with Sidekick

  • Ask Sidekick to create a bundle and it opens the bundle form filled in with the type, products or collection, and discount you asked for, ready for you to review and save. Sidekick and Shopify's Discounts page also open any bundle's form for editing, and you can start a bundle from Create discount on the Discounts page.
  • Bundles work smoothly with Shopify Rollouts. While a rollout turns a bundle's discount off for some shoppers, its app block steps aside until the rollout ends, so every shopper sees only savings they get at checkout, and the bundle shows which rollout it's waiting on. Approve the rollouts permission when Lime Bundles asks. When you end a rollout by applying its changes, or end a bundle's discount on the Discounts page, the bundle moves to Draft and says why, ready to turn back on.
  • Shopify's analytics charts mark the day each new bundle goes live, labeled with its name, so you can see what a launch did for your sales. Approve the analytics permission when Lime Bundles asks, and the markers start with your next new bundle.

A faster home page and bundles list

  • The home page and your bundles list open faster, with lighter product pictures.
  • Development stores have their own free plan on the Shopify App Store, with every feature and no sales limit.
  • Find help without leaving the home page: the help center and our support email are at the bottom.

Shopify's new admin look, and what's new inside the app

  • Lime Bundles follows Shopify's new admin design. On stores that have the new look, the app matches it. On every other store it looks the way it always has.
  • See what's new without leaving the app, in your admin's language. Settings has a What's new page with the latest updates, and a link to the help center.
  • Find answers in the new help center at docs.lime-bundles.com: a guide for every feature, and search that takes you straight to the setting or message you're looking for.
  • Request a feature from Settings. Send your idea, vote for the ones you want most, and follow each one on a board from idea to live.
  • Add up to three pictures when you ask for a feature, and open any idea on the board to read it in full before you vote.
  • Plan and usage has its own page in Settings: your plan and this month's sales at the top, and all four plans side by side.
  • Save and Discard are always in view while you customize your app block, so you can save your styling without closing the editor.
  • Preview works the same way on a bundle's page and in your bundles list: it is ready whenever the bundle is showing on your storefront.
  • A new bundle's page shows App block appearance and A/B test from the start, each with a note that it is ready once you save.
  • The analytics date range uses Shopify's own calendar, so its month and weekday names follow your admin's language. Choosing a preset shows the dates it covers before you apply it.
  • Type a date straight into Since and Until on the analytics date range, or pick it on the calendar.

A new app block editor, header images and a redesigned countdown

  • New bundles start with a calmer, lighter look that fits any theme: soft gray text, a fine border with gently rounded corners, the saving shown as small text above the title, and a dark Add to cart button. Every part of it can still be changed.
  • Customize is now a visual editor. Pick any part of your bundle in the preview, or from the list beside it, and its settings open right next to it. Every setting you had before is still there, grouped with the part it changes.
  • Settings in the editor use the same words as Shopify's theme editor, so they feel familiar from the start.
  • Edit your bundle's title and description right in the editor, in every language your store sells in.
  • Preview your bundle on your storefront straight from the editor.
  • Add an image to your bundle's header from your Files, or upload a new one. Show it above the text, behind it or beside it, choose its shape and overlay, and write its alt text right there.
  • Add your own blocks to a bundle: a line of text in your own words, a divider, or a discount badge. Drag any block into the header, the products section or the footer, and hide the ones you don't need.
  • The countdown timer comes in three styles (Bar, Inline and Boxed), can sit in the header or at the bottom of the bundle, and can carry your own text in each of your store's languages. Its settings link to a short guide.
  • The progress bar on mix and match and multi-step bundles comes in three styles: thin segments, one bar that fills, or a row of dots. Move it above or below the products, and recolor it.
  • Mix and match and multi-step bundles tell shoppers how many more products to choose, under the Add to cart button and in the product pop-up.
  • Fixed and Buy X get Y bundles list their products in a cleaner layout, with the price under each product's name and the quantity in a small tag.
  • The product pop-up on mix and match and multi-step bundles has a cleaner look, with its own colors for the search field, filters and buttons.
  • Bundle styles let you set your buttons, borders, tags and small labels once, and every part of the bundle and its pop-up follows.
  • More control over the details: exact corner rounding, font sizes and capitals for titles and buttons, and spacing around every block.
  • Bundle products can show shoppers what's in the bundle, right on the product page, as a list, a grid of tiles or a collapsible list.
  • The Create a bundle page shows all six bundle types side by side.
  • When a bundle needs something before it can be saved, the message is a plain sentence in your admin's language, shown right where you are.
  • Small labels are easier to read across every bundle.
  • The home page opens faster.

Require different products and a calmer starting look

  • Mix and match and multi-step bundles have a new setting, Require different products. Turn it on and shoppers choose one of each product, so every box is a real mix. It is off by default, so your existing bundles work exactly as before.
  • With Require different products on, a shopper can switch a product's variant in place, without removing it first.
  • The product picker reopens on the variant a shopper already chose, with Remove right there.
  • New bundles start in neutral colors, dark gray on white, so a bundle fits your theme before you style it. Bundles you have already styled are unchanged.
  • The bundle product form's product picker is simpler: pick your products there, then choose variants with the option toggles on each product.
  • When two of your bundles share a product, the bundle form tells you clearly what a shopper pays if they add both, so you can decide how to set them up.
  • After your first bundle sale, Shopify may ask you once to rate Lime Bundles. The prompt is Shopify's own and appears only that once.
  • The app's pages open faster in your Shopify admin.
  • The Bundled products card on a bundle product's page in your Shopify admin appears in your admin language, in all 21 languages the app supports, and shows cleaner names for products without variants.

New Starter price and a free trial on every plan

  • The Starter plan is now $14.99 a month, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
  • Bundles are even more dependable. The app checks its connection to your store more carefully, so your bundles keep selling without interruption.

Lime Bundles is live on the Shopify App Store

  • Six ways to bundle: fixed bundles, mix and match, volume discounts, buy one get one, multi-step bundle builders, and bundle products that sell as a single product in your catalog.
  • A storefront app block that uses your theme's fonts, with every color and detail yours to set.
  • Stock checks and plain-language guidance before a bundle goes live, so every bundle sells at the right price and never more than you have in stock. Bundles pause themselves when a product runs out and come back when you restock.
  • Scheduling with start and end dates, and the choice of which markets each bundle shows in.
  • Bundle analytics with views, add to carts and sales, and A/B testing between two versions of a bundle.
  • The admin in 21 languages, and the storefront app block translated into 31.
